Looks set to join Spurs. (Gianluca Di Marzio)
Apparently we like Bruno Fernandes but a move isn’t imminent (Simon Peach)
Begs the question what are we actually doing in the market?

I’d rather go to the pub with that repugnant Danny Dyer wannabe cummmstain Ace for a beer than live in London and that’s saying something.
When it comes to Football, Music and genuine people then it’s the North West all day long
If it’s pollution, crowded everywhere, ignorant dull to$$ers, expensive cráp beer, stupidly high house prices and chance of being stabbed then I will choose London
----------------------------------------------------------------------
What do you mean when it comes to music it's the north all day long? You do realise anyone in the country can listen to any musician, regardless of where they're from.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
We produce the best musicians lad
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Maybe so, not sure that makes Manchester a better place to live.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Debatable when you consider London and the south has produced The Rolling Stones, The Kinks, The Who, Bowie, Led Zep, Pink Floyd, Radiohead, Blur, Suede, Libertines etc the list is endless. Obvs some good Manchester bands plus The Beatles, but music is subjective so it’s a pretty tenuous claim.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Queen too
----------------------------------------------------------------------
The Jam
----------------------------------------------------------------------
The Sexx Pistols
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Some of these bands may have started up in London but the members aren’t all Londoners. Take for instance Led Zeppelin, aren’t they Brummies?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I think they were yeah.
London being the size it is will have given birth to so many more musicians than either Liverpool or Manchester. I would take all that London has and had to offer over either Manchester or Liverpool, despite The Beatles etc.

Although he didn't actually grow up in Ipswich. People just lazily say it cos he's from Suffolk.

Mercury was Indian, I think May was the only Cockney.

The band was formed in London. And Mercury spent his childhood and teenage years in India. He wasn't born there.

London, like most major cities, has its issues. People talk about pollution and it isn't much better in many other big cities.
I've had Chinese friend who loved it and Oxford as well as Cambridge too (Universities very famous and education being very important). They know of Manchester because of United, same goes for Liverpool (due to Liverpool FC). Most other places they have little idea about
