N'Dombele, why he is a massive signing

A lot of people haven't realised the immensity of signing Tanguy Ndombele.

He is one of the 20 players named to the Champions League squad of the season 2018-19 by UEFA's technical observers.

That is some accolade.

This is quoting from the source "The Lyon midfielder earned his rightful spot alongside the likes of De Bruyne, De Jong, Sterling, Manรฉ, Ronaldo and Messi. His outstanding performances and two goals over eight games played in Europe's top competition didn't go unnoticed."

He is Dembele's replacement - recall that he was missed badly last year and some!

This would be a big statement from the club not only for next season, but to back the manager too

If this gets over the line, after the stadium, this would elevate Levy's standings amongt Spurs fans

If you speak to anybody (who doesn't support Liverpool) about VAR they will generally say something along the lines of "I'm not 100% sure about it but at least it should stop refs favouring Liverpool".

They can't all be wrong!

They can if the stats deem otherwise...

But Lucas Moura's THREE goal CL Final qualifying Hattrick performance against Ajax did??

Pool were allowed to score 6 offside goals and were gifted 8 penalties for dives last season, that's a lot of extra points the referees handed them.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
yet we received no yellow cards for diving/simulation last season and spurs got 4
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Kane's best performance in the CL Final was his dive.

Fabinho flopped
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Stats don't lie mate.

Of course, this is just my opinion. And the opinion of other Liverpool fans.

I'd have Winks any day. Maybe even Dier.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yeah, I suppose that's why you won the CL final.

Fair enough
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Winks wasn't fit

Lucas should have started.

That's why we didn't win it.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
yeahs thats why
----------------------------------------------------------------------
and the ref being incompetentour game plan went out the window after 20 seconds due to a very poor decision.

I'm over it. We were incredibly lucky to even reach a final. I had a top weekend in Madrid regardless of the score.

Next year is our year
----------------------------------------------------------------------
You are being very kind to Sissoko by blaming the ref, having his arm up asking it to be hit was brain dead.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
shouldn't have been up there but i don't think he did it on purpose
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Of course he didn't. And what people tend to forget... football has always been our game. They come in and add/change rules as they see fit. This would never have been a handball only a few years back. Absolutely farcical nonsense. Remember also when this happened recently, the next game ALL our players had their hands behind their backs when in the penalty area. Looked absolutely pathetic. Thank goodness they stopped doing that.

Obviously I wish it hadn't been given but I don't find the rule as absurd as others do.

Unless you are running or sliding in your arms should be by your side.

Sissoko had a brilliant season. Fabinho was nowhere near his level IMO.

What in tarnation!?!?

Slap my face and call me Dorothy! What planet is this guy living on?

Their midfield was so crap this season because Sissoko was the best of a bad bunch he's suddenly a great player and somehow better than Fabinho who had a great season amongst midfielders who had a great season.

This shouldn't even be a discussion.

He's mental. Pure and simple.

Fabinho has done more in six months than Sissoko has done in his entire Spurs career.

What a joke.
