this fella from France is to be welcomed, and possibly the Leeds lad as well, and I get all the excitement, but I am still very concerned that with just half a dozen weeks until the start of the season, the defensive issues have not yet been addressed. Hardly any talk of any new defenders coming in, and if Spurs start next season with Trippier and even Rose as our fullbacks, then even bringing in Messi aint going to help.
The defense was pretty shambolic last season, and Toby and Verts are not getting any younger. Trippier is clearly not up to it, and Rose is nowhere the player of three seasons back, and is injured a fair bit these days. Absolutely essential that the defence is sorted out as a priority over any other positions in the team.
I think we all agree that the right back position is the weakest in the team so what`s the news on any incoming full-backs that will slot straight into the first XI?

Lamela is a good player who's had injury issues and problems following his brother's accident. He is definitely worth keeping unless a great offer comes in (which won't). He is one of the hardest working players in the team and has creativity to add.
More than happy keeping him and using off the bench. Just needs to be available!!

I think that Poch will use kwp. We will only sign a right back if trippier or aurier go.
I expect us to sign Sessegnon, then he and rose will be our wing backs
