1st pre season match in the books, was live on Celtic TV, next game is on Saturday and is expected to feature more of our regulars.
First 11 mostly made up from reserve team and under 18's.
Hazard, Ralston, Simunovic, Welsh, Hayes, Coffey, Christie, Oko-Flex, Miller, Sinclair Griffiths.
First half pretty poor, Pinkafeld looking up for it while some of our guys didn't getting out of 1st gear.
They took the lead and we equalised via Griff.
1-1 at half time.
2nd half was a different story, loads of subs came on, Mikey Johnson being the main spark, he's gonna be one hell of a player.

Wee Dembele had a few nice moments, but Johnston terrorised them, Okoflex was the other player that stood out to me.

That we Johnstone looked Shiite against us but he was proper thrown to the lions against us, a couple times. Must be a talent but to even be considered to be thrown in then

The entire team sh@t the bed in those games, I found it weird that so many Celtic fans kinda wrote him off after those games, he was also played out of position in those games.
He's a very good finisher, but that doesn't make him a striker, he needs to be picking the ball up with space to run at players.
I'm pretty excited at the way we are shaping next season, obviously we need to get that RB position sorted, LB too coz we don't have any cover for KT.
I was quite impressed with Gutman at LB when he came on, although it sounds as though we are sending him back to the US on loan due to not having a work permit sorted.

Haven't seen the game lads but a decent start. Just a wee point, if, If we get Jullien & there's rumours about LB (Nice?) maybe Ntcham could yet be a player for us. Not too concerned about the KT thing, think he would want to stay but big offer & he's off. That guy man utd have bought/are buying from Palace is a good player & no one on here should be doubting that but not experience KT does.
There was something Sutton tweeted about this & comparison with Stones/Van Dyck re the arrogance of English clubs. I know PL comes in for stick but at least as a club we have identified that level of player previously & gone + got them. Easiest role in football = EPL scout. Lazy as all hell.

Would love Ntcham to stay if fully committed, but it feels like a long shot, I suspect we're haggling with teams for him and I think there's about an 80% chance he'll be gone.
