Been impressed with these ladies. It's been a decent watch.
England looked pretty good last night and a possible semifinal clash with Germany coming up.
But the big one is tonight. France and the favourites USA in Paris
Many positives to be proud of but one or two negatives as well.
VAR has been used far too much and has influenced a few matches ( France v Nigeria for example ).

I’ve been enjoying the tournament actually.
I just wish the BBC would stop trying so hard to elevate the women’s game beyond what it currently is. It’s getting boring hearing them say things like “she overtakes Shelton as England’s most capped player” or “The first England player to X, surpassing Gary Linekar.”
Stop it.

Women`s football is rubbish.

well, it's clearly not... but if saying things like that boosts your own view of being masculine, go for it.
those of us that are actually masculine know that the most masculine thing you can do is truly give zero focks about what people think.
Women's football is technically very, very good at times. I've seen better 1 and 2 touch football on show here than served up by the like a huddersfield (or spurs in the CL final)

Been very impressed with England.
And with P Nev. Says the right things to the press
He has said all along he thinks England can win it. Shades of Sir Alf in 66.

Well it clearly is, if the USA are the best team.

It is the same standard as park football.

Bit of an insult to park football.

It is the same standard of Mens Pub Football yes. A team of under 16s boys beat USA (world champs) recently
but that is if you want to compare women's sport to men's. Which is ridiculous as even Martina Nav explained in her programme this week.
Try and look at Women's sport on its own merits.

Aye, stuff like this just turns people off, a presenter on 5 Live was saying the pubs are packed for England games. I haven’t seen this tbh, people are in the pubs, as they tend to be during the summer, and the game happens to be on. I don’t think football fans, generally, are charging down to the pub specifically to watch England matches, personally.
Sam Matterface said 60,000 people were in a field at Glastonbury to watch the Lionesses, I think the music may have had more to do with it and from what I’ve seen on social media, the “celebrations” were fairly muted.
There does seem to be a need by some to force the WWC on people. They think they’re helping, they’re not.

I honestly don’t know whether you believe anything you write.
I hope not, for your sake.
