I actually think you're both arguing the same point overall. Of course three successive trebles is success. In all likelihood its not sustainable and unless European performances improve then regression is coming some time in the future.

Of course we won't be able to keep winning trebles every year, how that equates to the team going nowhere is the part I dispute.

I think winning trophies is successful. Of course it is. But keep winning (which we won’t) trebles with such regularity and it’s fair to say they start to become meaningless.

Point in case.

Winning the league is now all that matters as we are so close to matching the twice completed 9 and then on to the mythical 10. The cups have now become almost meaningless whereas once we completed the first of the treble trebles they were the be all and end all until last season.

There we go.

Maybe you should to be honest, any success we have in Europe is a bonus, our bread and butter is the domestic trophies, if you see winning those as nothing, nowhere or whatever then why bother?

If all your actually trying to say is we won't keep winning trebles so KT should jump whilst on top, then that's fair enough, but your choice of words are pretty neggy.

Well sorry about the neggy words. Not sure why you got so upset about it and started suggesting that a poster making a perfectly valid point is pashed.

It's obvious that you're a better supporter than me and I should rethink my attitude.

Celtic as a club are trapped. If we win three trebles in the next three years we'll be exactly the same as the last three years...if we don't we'll have gone backwards.

Any ambitious footballer will move on. I really thought that was understood by all. Seems it's only most.

KT isn't going to sit enviously watching Andy Robertson on the telly forever...and he's not staying at Celtic for an extra ten grand a week. Nor should he.
