Surely..obvs city and Liverpool (the champions of mthr fkn Europe). Now I did genuinely think last season lfc would win the title because I couldn't see city winning all their remining games...but they did, so fair play...but that was just ridiculous tbh!!
I dol feel though that it genuinley is a 2 horse race this season and liverpool will win it...b4 the season starts! Why? Well..we won a big big trophy and none of our top players are leaving...it just feels like it's our time last seasons prem experience imo will be massive plus city to hit 3 on the trot again imo is just to big to ask.......not guaranteed of course, but I tell u now I am sticking a min of £500 on LFC winning the prem...and I will post the istagram as proof....
And yes..Madrid WAS awesome and want to go to Istanbul for number 7
Two horse race for the title..

Ripley
A million years ago when I was young, I was involved on the periphery of a potential new Anfield and the redevelopment of Highbury into high end flats. Arsenal were able to recoup a big chunk of money from using the land for residential purposes, and Liverpool were unable to make the economics work at the time as land there was cheap and there was less demand. There were also some on the council trying to block it if it didn't involve a groundshare with Everton.Times change but with the coming economic downturn post Brexit it is hard to see a new stadium for Liverpool soon, especially as has been said, as they have built a new stand.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
If Liverpool are to build a new stadium like Spurs it will cost close to a billion.

Not so Sandy, land costs are lower, and appointing a Main Contractor rather than trying to do it via a Construction Management route (without the knowledge to make that work ) would probably result in lower total cost.

I’m not talking about soon Bomdia.
I’m talking about eventually

I agree Ripley, it must happen eventually. Stadiums show their age badly after 50 years or so. Look at Castle Glum in Salford for example.

I made my comment in regards to being more long term.
I don't see it happening soon, but I do think it will happen eventually.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Can’t see it happening in my lifetime. But yeah it’s easy to predict in 50 years from now the club might move.

Treble winners sounds better still. Champions League is won every year but only one team has won all the domestic game can provide. Treble baby. 198 points. 200 PL goals. Never been done. That is the mark of the best ever team.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Winning a treble is always wonderful, we know we've won 2 or 3 trebles in our time, but without the champions league being one of the 3 it's always a lesser treble.
European champions though, well that always sounds like you've achieved the pinnacle of success..
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Given that it has never been done before, surely that marks it out as a vastly superior treble. If it had done before maybe it would be lesser, but it hasn't and so by definition is more difficult and more significant.
No shame to come second to the best team of all time and congratulations for winning the CL.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
So by your logic if you were to win the CL and get relegated in the same season that would be the best yet because nobody has ever done it before.
Sorry but your argument just doesn't hold water...

There is logic. It's the success that has not been done before, not a success and a failure.

Yes, but with nothing even planned, it will not be happening I assume for a few years yet, by which time prices will have risen. They won`t get much change out of a billion, if say it was completed in 10 years time.

Only an idiot would think that a treble that has never better than 1 trophy which is won every year. But I see that 1 did think that.
Still, the Champions again show the way in getting their transfer business done early while the runners up watch on.
