Unbearable, such a weird way of describing a fanbase being happy their team won.

I do think teams envy the Liverpool support in ways, look the at celebrations after winning the CL, you just don't see the same with other clubs

I haven't been on here much, but it's been fine tbh. I think most people thought it would be unbearable if you won the league. most people know CL is a knockout competition where luck can take place. Liverpool deserved it. But think most people would find it unbearable if Liverpool were the best team in the country.

There's luck in everything but I feel over 38 games it balanced out. Plus I can point to two liverpool anomalies that would not happen any other time in 100 games of football and thats lloris and pickford clangers.

Im just saying I think people would have found it more unbearable had you won the league. Not many people cared about the CL

That's actually not true statistically, the number of games is too small. The analysis done the season before last showed Liverpool were something crazy like 13 or 15 points down due to bad luck / decisions. I'm sure it wasn't bad last season though or we wouldn't have gotten 97 points.

Maybe but I can say chelsea were the best team in the country when they won the league. When we won the CL we were miles off the best team in the country.

City won two cup competitions and the league and imo liverpool had some more outlandish moments that led to points than city did last year. While your argument is a good one, i don't think it holds up based on last season.

Yet City were a lucky bounce away from losing the league (11mm) and so one incident of luck would change the entire narrative from "City won a domestic treble" to "Liverpool won a european double".

That's my point, in some seasons it's very close and to sat one team was definitively better is difficult to do.

Whats to say it wasn't a weird bounce and normally it would go much further over the line. Either way on paper, and results wise, city were the best team in the country last year.
