That’s the rumour, down to London today to complete a medical and sign a 5 year deal.
Personally I hope this isn’t true but obviously this is the timeline Mags told us a few weeks back too.
Mixed reaction on social media, some defending him and some vilifying him. Some of it is over the top, me personally, good luck to him. I’d had hoped the chance to be a Celtic legend and win 10 would have been enough but I suppose he has to look after number 1 and he also needs to go down there if he wants to be the best player he possibly can be.
Arsenal are getting a bargain at £25 million, I suspect that’ll rise to over £30 million if he moves on again.
It does mean the urge for a fully pledged quality LB is urgent, although we signed young Luca Connell, who will be part of the first time, it’s a tough ask to expect him to come in and make an instant impact.
We’re also still a right back down, however, talks appeared to have progressed over the weekend with Luton Town for Jack Stacey.
We’re still 3 or players short for me, RB & LB the absolute musts. CB and number 8 type midfielder although the urge for that is way down the pecking order.
King Julien expected to join up with the squad in Switzerland today so he should be close to being ready for the 2nd qualifier should we progress. I’d expect Jozo and Ajer for the first one. Probably still looking at Ralston and Hayes as full backs over in Bosnia though so if we get out of that game with a score draw at least I’ll be flooking delighted.

From my outlook, celtic selling away creative players doesn't hurt. What gets brought in we'll see but I like it when better players leave

It will be interesting to see how Tierney does if he goes.
Something about him says were this 30 years ago he would be a one club guy.
I say that knowing fek all about him its just an impression.
He always seems to breath Celtic and I wonder how much of that he takes to another club and thereafter what affect that has on ability/performance.
Will he be
Andy Robertson or Alan Hutton.?
I also think he might just stay where he is might?

Agreed Duke I think it's fair to say he likely would be a one club man but 30 years ago celtic and rangers could pay top wages and literally had equal opportunity of being able to go for European success as any other club just about especially with England in its European ban.
