I don't know how you guys do it, 70 million for Maguire is about 55 million too much.

You mugged Chelsea blind for Drinkwater and robbed Man City with Mahrez as well

hi all i have avoided the selling debates etc but if we are going to compete with Man utd why sell them a player they need to make them better?
Its all going to be down to Harry if he wants to go he has a long contract so the club will do well out of it. But we should keep our best players if we want to be top six.

IMO, selling Maguire won't make or break our progress to improve and push into the top 6.
Now.. losing Maddison or Pereira on the other hand. we can afford to lose Maguire.. especially if it means getting 80m for him to reinvest. a no brainer.

I reckon we make more of a statement if Harry stays, on more than one level.

Just think back for a minute, in 2019 we'd just had a great season to return to the Championship, if anybody had expressed thoughts then that 10 years later we'd be rejecting a £70M bid from United for our centre back it would have been time to send for the men in white coats with straitjacket!
