when clubs like Everton are spunking 30m on the likes of Keane and Pickford and 50m on Sig i dont think we can complain about the fees that followed those 12 months plus later for Alisson and vvd etc.

Before vvd was signed 6 clubs had higher transfer fee records than us including Everton.

Who complained? Was it on another thread? Personally I think Pickford wasn't a bad signing. I think we over paid for both Keane & siggy, but I would imagine we could easily recoup our money back on Keane (not so much siggy)

For the money you paid for those three, we bought VVD and Salah.

Or Alisson, Mane and Salah, if you prefer.

I'm not surprised our keeper has remained top class since Achterberg became number 2.

He has more outfield duties now and can't dedicate enough time to ruining the keeper.

Alission is absolutely world class. there is no other term for how good he is. none. theres no better keep on the planet and frankly those who keep saying ederson should be brazil no 1 and ederson is better than allison in prem are dim.

Especially pundits.

Alisson edges it as a shot stopper for me but Ederson obviously has the better range & accuracy of passing.
