Can Alli replace Eriksen ??

As Chris says different type of players but dele can step up and get more assists like the previous season.

Hopefully we are moving away from eriksen dictating how we play with 2 or 3 all be counted on to be creative

I think centrally and supporting Kane he could get back to his best. In the 343 we played with Eriksen and Alli behind Kane he was devastating. 4231 doesn't seem to suit him as an AML or Left Forward

I don't think he's that good playing on the flanks. He wants to be closer to Kane. So in my opinion either we bench him or give him the 10 role behind Kane.

I agree. He was moved around too much last season, and once Dembele left/Winks got injured he spent half his time in midfield trying to win tackles and move the ball up the pitch. Not his game at all. With Ndombele behind him I expect he'll be able to sit closer to Kane and create magic.

He doesn't have the vision of Eriksen though, or the accuracy with both feet.. he's going to be impossible to replace. We just have to make it a better team.

Probably his best position at the minute as he's not suited to being a #8 at the minute.

In a 4231 that means playing in the middle of the 3, presumably competing with Lo Celso if he ends up signing. If Spurs go 433 with wingers (Son and Lucas) I'm not sure there's a role for Alli in the starting XI until he develops his ball retention.

Seriously.? Alli does not have the technical ability, guile to replace Eriksen and will never have.
Why some of our fans continue to rate him so highly is beyond me

it's because Poch does. I personally think he shouldn't start ahead of Son or Lucas but we know he's a Poch favourite so if he must start I think he needs to be central.

Big season ahead for Dele. Was below his best last campaign. understandable for a young player i suppose. I would like to see him do a little less off the pic in terms of profile building on Instagram, and a little more on the pitch.

Needs to step up this season. Could be a make or break for him. No tournament before the season starts, so no reason he shouldn't be fresh and raring to go.

Maybe he could practice free kicks and become our go to guy for them.
