What do you hope for this season?

Second season syndrome looms, or does it? I believe we are a club in the ascendance, and so positive expectations should be the norm. But where do realism and optimism part company? Thought it would be interesting to speculate on what the collective opinion of this board is.

Firstly, the Premier League. I would genuinely be disappointed if we slipped down the table, but would settle for 7th again.

The Europa League is a bit more difficult to assess. Something like reaching the last 16 sounds realistic (can't quite remember the format to be honest).

The F.A. Cup and, particularly the League Cup, are always a bit of a lottery. Just not going out to Crawley Town is a positive sometimes.

For me, I would discard success in all other competitions for a top 6 place.

What about you?

Final score 2-0 to Crusaders. Be a minor miracle if the Faroes can turn that around in the 2nd leg

Wouldn't think it a minor miracle to be fair. Unlikely but they are at home second leg though i would think Crusaders have a good chance of scoring one which then makes it very difficult.

Down to a squad of TWELVE first team players after getting rid of Cav.

One of the 12 is a musclebound headless rooster.

Two weeks left to sign four top quality players or depend on the lightweight U23's from last season to fill in the gaps as we potentially look forward to TWENTY extra games - and that's if we are successful on all cup fronts.

The next fortnight will either be champagne in a jacuzzi full of hotties or a darkened room with the ghost of Ted Bundy for company.

If it's the latter, the rumours that Fosun are positioning the club to sell will go viral.

In common with most of the top Premier League clubs Wolves have entered their U23 squad into the Checkatrade Trophy. They have been drawn today in a group with Blackpool, Carlisle and Morecombe . We play all those three teams once in the group, all away, and the top two in the group go through to the knockout stage.

Assuming that Cavaleiro leaves, our current first team squad consists of
Patricio
Ruddy
Norris
Coady
Boly
Bennett
Miranda
Kilman
Doherty
Jonny
Vinagre
Traore
Neves
Moutinho
Gibbs-White
Saiss
Dendoncker
Jota
Jimenez

Now I’m no mathematician, but even a thick like me can add up to 19 without having to take my shoes and socks off. However not only can this cretin not count, he is apparently incapable of reading a calendar as well.
Today is the 12th of July. The transfer window closes on the first day of the season which is the 10th of August. We therefore have 30 days to make some signings.
I have no idea what planet this moron comes from but evidently they have 15 day weeks there.

As I alluded to yesterday...drugs are bad ! A quick
