Re the coming season, frankly I don't know how it will pan out. If we can have some exciting games, see one or two youngsters coming through, and feel Ole is getting a grip, then I will be very happy even if we finish eighth. Winning trophies is great, but it's not everything, or not for me in any event.
I think you will have another great season, some seem to think that makes me bitter, but not at all. Liverpool are like us imo, built on the back of great managers, and I always had a good time at Anfield. We've both had plenty of great times, the wheel has turned and you are at the top, maybe in ten years it will be the other way, but I hope to enjoy it anyway.

A realistic assessment if I may say, but top six next season has to be a minimum. Below that and I can see Ole gettting his P45.

I've just checked, you can get 'Slow Horses' on Kindle. That's book 1. There's four more and I couldn't get them quick enough

I like the fact he does a lot of research then writes a good story on top of it. So the story is fiction but based on facts.
I read all the Sharpe books first, then Derfsl, then Thomas Hook, finally Uhtfed. I read some others in between but they are my favorite à.

That is exactly the same reason that I like his books mate. He must put some serious time into his research. I loved the Derfel ones as no-one has ever written the Athurian tale in such a away. I thought it was great how Merlin was really more of a scientist than a sorcerer.

Agreed Elvis, I loved the Derfel ones. Besides being a great read it gives an Idea of life then.
It's what he does with all his books, and the characters are believable. King Arthur written as a real person, not a myth. And nobody writes battle scenes better.
