Bayern still at it

How they getting away with it really πŸ˜‚

Asked specifically about top target Sane, Rummenigge told a news conference: "The status is that he comes back from vacation this week and did not want to talk during the vacation time.

"Now you will have to wait in peace and quiet to see if something moves in this direction.

"It is well known that we are still looking for a wide player. We lost Franck Ribery and Arjen Robben, two players who have shaped the face of Bayern."

Absolutely flaunting it. Side note I think 80-90m alleged asking price is cheap given a) the current market b) his age and potential and c) we don’t need to sell

Much ado about nix,or something like that !

I’m sure every club does have their tactics. But I don’t think we’ve publicly gone for someone since Lescott. Unless someone has slipped past my blue tinted glasses...

It's doubtful they would publicise the fact the are poaching a player. It's more likely City have given permission.

But yes it happens all the time in football and most of the time clubs don't report it. Why would a club waste time making bids for a player if they didn't know he would move? It's only when clubs start low balling and unsettling players when clubs report it.

You think Sterling just decided off his own bat not to sign a new contract at 19 years old? Of course not. He knew City wanted him, well before a bid came in. Likewise with Milner I'm sure.

I’m talking about the club using the media to try and turn someone’s head

Media schmedia.

Talking to his agent and telling them how much they are willing to pay them will be far more destabilising than answering a question from a journalist. It's tapping up pure and simple and you can be sure all top clubs are doing it.

Obviously, and it definitely doesn’t help there are agents with many players on their books at different clubs. But, if Perez was giving weekly interviews talking about Mo Salah, I’d wager a few articles would pop up over on your board 😏

Yeah no doubt but is it weekly?

It's just part of football and people will put their clubs first. Best thing City can do is rinse them for a fee.

Be sad to see Sane leave the league though as Im a big fan.
