You can say what you like about Pogba but at least he showed up on your and by all accounts is showing the right attitude.
It’s a bad sign when your club captain is refusing to show up. Really poor from an experienced pro like him.

Man Utd are jerks

The amount of excuses people make for him is incredible tbh, he’s world class with better players around him, he’s world class if he plays on the left of a midfield three, he’s world class playing higher up the pitch, he’s world class playing deeper, he’s world class with Kante and Matuidi doing the running for him. It never ends.

Completely agree with B&P here.
He isn't world class. He is a very good but inconsistent player. We don't know he's best position since he's been here and that's not just the fans but the coaches and managers that have been working with him.
I honestly believe we need to recruit the right players and reshape out midfield. Pogba causes as much problems in the team tactically as he supposedly does as a person. He just was never the right fit for what Jose wanted and looks like it's the case with Ole too.
We should look to get the players we need in now and have him move on as soon as they are in and settled (even if that means keeping him for a year).

What's the game coming to when a 33 year old club captain who is supposed to be a leader thinks they can get away with this rubbish?

Well least that way they have no choice but to get rid, but it's ok pogba will just lazily jog about for 4 weeks now

Reports coming out today that he’s happy to stay if we show ambition. He’s not perfect but I’m actually with him if that’s true.

Ok process, you are not naive. It’s a sound bite, read between the lines and ‘so no one is willing to pay 130m+ for me, I’m going to have to say something to get the fans back onboard, even if I don’t mean it’

I was stunned when I heard that he had refused to show up for the tour. What sort of a captain does that? He wants shipping out of the club ASAP. You can't have your captain setting that kind of an example.

That's what he wants, A free transfer to Bordeux reportedly. This despite having a year left and Arsenal needing him.

As much as it's in everybody's best interest (club included) to get rid, part of me would love to see some clubs keep him and don't even play him in the reserves, let alone pick him in the match day squad.
If he won't play for the club then he won't play for any club for the rest of his contract. A year of not playing any competitive football at his age wont inspire a French club to sign him up, and more importantly, sends a message to everyone else to at least show the bare minimum of professionalism for being paid millions every year to kick a ball.

Yep I'd say that's the way this should go. That or he buys himself out of his contract, wouldn't have an issue with that either.

Fair point about buying out his contract.
Is a bit of respect, integrity and professionalism too much to ask for?

Yes it seems it is apparently, this is just one of many cases
The balance is very much with players which is certainly better than the power and money being with owners as it might have been in the past.
However I think we're missing some legislation to reflect just how far things have swung, it's the supporters who fund this and actions like Koscielny's shiiit all over them.
