Not really sure why them not buying for two seasons makes a difference.

levy just bought a billion pound stadium and is kind of tight with the purse strings on players. don't think he'll overpay for anyone from the championship.

The billion pound stadium loan repayments are £50m a year, it has been widely mooted the increase in matchday revenue covers this therefore is not a factor.

Based on last night, we've already sold them one piece of dead wood, maybe they will listen to any old nonsense, buy Jack Clarke he's one for the future, buy Kalvin Phillips he's worth £30m. Now how can we get them to take O'Kane, Saiz etc off our hands?

Reckon Philips is our replacement if Jansson. Can see him playing at the back with Forshaw getting a regular slot in the middle...

If that is the case I am delighted for us and for him.

For us because he wants to play for US in the PL.

For him as he knows another season like the last and whatever happens he’ll be playing PL football.

That would be ideal and fair all round in my book.

Na our respected journalists all said we aren’t in for him.
