Coutinho

Coutinho is still a great player but there are certain types of player who need to be indulged by the club. Phil was one of those, we built around him and turned a blind eye when he was off form. Cout was never going to get the same chance at Barca.

As a team Liverpool have upped their performance since Phil left and become far more efficient. I can’t see any way back for him tbh.

He had a childhood dream to play for Barca, u can't blame him for that, he did it; it didn't work out and I am sure he's absolutely gutted. To compound that the team he left went on to batter Barca and lift the trophy he so desperately wanted.....that's a triple whammy for him!

I don't think he's burnt "club" bridges at all, Klopp seemed to say they tried to keep him but he had a dream. I imagine at club level coutinho has friends and Klopp etc are still friends with him. As fans we see it different, as a betrayal perhaps.

I don't think the question is would he come back, I think he jump at that in a heartbeat..I think the more pertinent question is does Klopp NEED him back; if he does then I suspect we will sign him.

Personally, I think the fee will put us off. Barca will want to try to recoup a large chunk of what they've spent.

What Jurgen thinks and what he says I suspect are completely different. He's very careful with what he says. Most of the time it's Rafa-like platitudes.
