It seems the worlds most popular cockney celtic fan is a little nervous over what is happening under Stevie G at Ibrox this summer.
Penny must be so sick of hearing him batter on about Rangers all day that Rod has resorted to phoning up every sensible celtic fans first stop for footy news and chat - the Daily Record.
Much maligned on here, it surprisingly seems that Rod is himself officially endorsing the Record Hotline as the equivalent of the Samaritans if they want to vent on various Rangers related topic.
So go on boys - if you are sweating about Rangers - be like Rod - give the Record a bell and get it off your chest.
I might just listen to the Open Line tonight to see if that's next on his list....
