Afternoon folks,
So next year I have the big 50 birthday coming up and the wife has suggested Vagas for 10 days.
I would love to go but my past may well bite me on the bum! My last conviction was 25 years ago.
No point in even applying for a visa at the London embassy, that would be a straight no I`m guessing.
So what about an Esta? And just tick No when asked about any criminal convictions?
Knowing my luck we will get there and turned away and me being charged for lying
I`m up for chancing it,just thought I`d ask on here if any you guys know of anyone who has chanced their luck and got in.
I`ve read on the net that people have chanced it some multipul times and there aint been a problem.
So Vagas or Rothesay?

Looks good BB but cant comment as dont know the area. Traffic can be brutal getting to the strip.
Alternatively get a taxi to a monorail station and get that...takes you right into the action

I've done Vegas a few times and 10 days is way too long. 4 nights is plenty if you take in a Friday and Saturday across that time. If you want to be out there longer why not take in San Fran or San Diego? Internal flights are cheap and quick.

Agreed.
And stay monday to Thursday rather than the weekend...a bit less busy and rooms are half the price.
Dont go to vegas with a package operator...total rip off.
Go the Wynn website and join the Wynn insider club....gets you 20-30% discount on room rates plus access to comps/deals. Other hotels have similar.
You can do vegas without spending the earth and still in some style

I found a little 1 bedroom flat only 2 miles from the strip @ £25 a night,Ubber is $10 to the strip.Close enough but no crowds,sounds good,flights are around £600-£800 direct.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Hotels at the end of the strip are dead cheap. The older ones like the Sahara Monday-Thursday can't be much more than 40 a night.

Yup...great deal. Ffs you can get a suite in some of them for less than a ton
