According to reports we have today offered Β£61m (β¬68m) for Lo Celso, amid rumours of interest from Bayern.
The player himself has said his preference is Spurs, so if these reports are true and we get Sessegnon, keep Toby and maybe even Eriksen then it will have been a good window.
Next few days will be interesting

It's really not asking much to get the names of our players right.

Get a life you have the name bales ffs π

When you take people to task over stuff like that you arent adding any ting to the Convo and just looking for a reason to not address any points raised.
See what strikes did above u?
He replied with a comment I don't necessarily fully agree with but made some reasonable points in a reasonable way...it's called a forum.
Didn't someone explain to you how these places work?

How boring.
I'm explaining to you why I don't value your opinion. That is how this forum is working in this instance.
It's a forum about football, about which you clearly have very limited understanding. I'm not sure why you feel the need to contribute, but have at it. I'll leave you alone from now on.

Think Erik hadn't had much interest, especially at the prices Levy probably quotes, meaning he wants to extent the deal rather than lose an asset for nothing.
Makes sense but this was always going to be an issue when you price players in a high bracket but don't want to pay the wages to match.
Don't get the rose sale tbh unless a top wb is coming in, as although not always consistent, he was the standout fullback for last year in that team imo
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Who's this Erik? If you mean Eriksen he's very publicly being valued at 60-70m for foreign clubs. That's a bargain even considering his contract.
Rose is being allowed to leave if he wants, he's not been happy for a while. Most fans don't want to see him go.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Apologies for having to use your obv detective poirot level detective skills to solve the mystery of who Erik was referring toπ
A very very good player and can play at the highest level I just feel Levy reputation as a b'stard negotiator was always gonna come back to bite him in the backside at some point.
His contract expires in 12 months. 70 million now is a bargain when he is free next year?!?! Bit early for the sauce mate π
No one will pay that and tbh the fact no one has yet shows it is anything but a bargain price. Never made sense to say he is worth 100+ mill and pay him wages lower than lots of pros in the bottom half of the table.
Pay the guy his last big payday. He has been loyal and earned it and spurs won't be better odd without him in my view. Same with Rose. Sell Rose but keep Davies?!?
Some things just don't add up to me....except tripper going he was toilet. Problem is aurier is too
Why is no one alarmed at a defence that lost so many games losing its first 11 wbs and not replacing them?
I don't accept sessegnon is a better lb than rose at all.
That's why I think there has to be plenty of spending left.
Foyth at rb and Davies at lb? I dont think thats top 4 level and tbh spurs need to be pushing for silver!
I think it's half a rebuildingredients job so far and more spending has to follow
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Poch wants Foyth as his RB and Sessegnon as his LB - that’s good enough for me. How many times is Poch right compared to chinless wonders on the internet.
Klopp backed TAA and Robertson, who on paper looked way short of top quality, how did that work out?
The defensive issues last year were just as easily attributed to the attack not banging in enough goals and relieving the pressure. We scored 4 goals in 6 games against Newcastle, Bournemouth, Southampton, Burnley, West Ham, Brighton in the second half of last season - we cant blame the defence for that.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I see what you are saying I just feel they are the level needed right now. I also refuse to accept that a stadium build, where they have said countless times it won't effect spending and it's spread over a massive period, means spurs can't blow 100+ in a window.
To me this seems like unfinished business in the window.
Pl revenue, no buying for several windows, CL final..spurs have plenty of money and with deal structuring could easily spend more.
Me saying this seems to have hit a nerve with some fans for some reason π
Good to see some good poster's still here though

I think Poch feels he has enough options at the back when Sessegnon comes in. He knows Sessegnon and Davies are at LB and in a pinch Jan is very good there. He has Foyth, Aurier and KWP at RB. CB he has Jan, Toby and Sánchez, with Davies, Foyth, and Dier all capable of dropping in.
I expect us to sign GLC and keep Eriksen, that’s where our money is going. An increase in the wage bill with a net spend circa £100m.

Sessegnon isn't Pl top four level lb in my view but has heaps of potential and is already a serious attacking threat. Always saw him gping the bake route of becoming a winger so I agree, Jan there would make sense. Stocked at CB. Just think it'd be risky to play Sessegnon there this season when potch like's a solid unit at the back. I guess Aurier just needs to concentrate for whole games and becomes first choice.
Maybe he throws Foyth in after his games over the summer I'm just a bit apprehensive. Long as there are signs of improvement I guess mistakes are going to happen, which is one thing I don't really see with Aurier/trippier, and a plus

Yeah I think Poch is thinking 2/3 years down the line, we know from Foyth that he won’t throw a player under the bus due to mistakes, I think that comes from his playing days.
If he feels these guys have the right stuff to develop then he will stick with them and we might have to take the hiccups in the mean time

I think if it wasn’t for Foyth we would of gone in for AWB.
