Yeah bit worrying we’ve not really been linked to any CB. Apart from saliba but he’s not here for a year. Could really do with 1 or 2 for this coming year. They could be waiting for a resolution to the kos situation first maybe

You can't replace a whole back line and expect the new defenders to all have a stormer in their first season.

For me the problem lies in DM. We didnt have one last season. For all the Torreira hype, he was playing closer to the strikers than thr defence at the end of last season

We really can’t afford to mess about waiting on Kocielny we need defenders ASAP

Koscielny is guaranteed to leave

We have Chambers, Mustafi, Holding and Sokratis as centre backs when/if Kos goes. Saliba is on the verge of being confirmed for 2020/21 season. So if we consider that Sokratis/Holding had the best partnership last season and most likely will be the starters, the question is who can we bring in with premier league experience and ready to step in case of injury behind Chambers and Mustafi. I doubt anyone will want sit on the bench!

Yes I don't trust Mustafi or Chambers either but thank Wenger for spending £50m for the pair and also paying them what those sort of fees command. Unless we can get rid we ain't going to buy and who is going to buy them on their wages?

Better to keep them as backups in that case. At least Chambers is young and can develop.
