There is no such thing as overbuying anyway. If you buy Ronaldo, Messi, Neymar, VVD, Rakitic and Neuer in the same summer, no one would say a team has over bought.

The concern for Villa is that due to Abraham’s loan expiring you are now having to gamble on a striker unproven in the Prem. If he struggles then Villa struggle.
