Celtic 5 v 0 Nomme Kalju

As expected, a comfortable evening for the spaghetti hoops.

Safely into the next round with minimal fuss and I’d expect us to give a few players a run out next Tuesday, Julien, Ntcham, Griffiths etc will all likely get 60-90 minutes in them.

Listen the opposition aren’t up to much but I thought we made them look worse with how well we played. The speed of our play was a joy to watch and in Christie, Edouard and McGregor, you had 3 guys at the top of their game last night.

Christie looks the fittest he’s ever looked, his eye for a pass and his execution of it is wonderful, he has a great understanding with Edouard which bodes well for the season.

Edouard just continues to get better, when he’s in that kind of form he’s hard to stop, I honestly don’t think he gave the ball away last night when into his feet and he terrifies defenders when he squares them up.

McGregor was an absolute RR last night, it’s funny as well as he probably faced the toughest opponent in the wee black dude who thought he was Ngolo Kanye, McGregor bossed him though and a textbook finish to cap off a great night.

An emotional moment for Griffiths grabbing a goal, some flooking strike but I thought his overall game was quite poor and he looks a yard or two short still.

Boli didn’t look well from the first minute, didn’t want to run and didn’t want the ball either, his passing was all over the place too so it wasn’t a surprise to see him come off. Lennon said he felt sick so questions need asked of both sides why he started, waste of a sub.

Thought the back 3 were fine, not helped with some moments by Biton though as he seemed to think we had an imaginary centre mid in that first half

Johnston looked very, very lively when he came on. Ghosting past players again, exciting to see if he can keep this up.

Last night was done without our new right back, our £7 million centre half, Shved, Rogic, Bayo and Tierney. Lennon must be delighted with the start and how the squad is coming together.

Long may it continue

Edouard , Johnson and christie.looked in great form last night ...we had so many forward thinking players we were a joy to watch going forward
The opposition were rotten though , bit I guess we made them look worse than what they are

Btw that pass from Bitton was browns fault .. bitton was raging at him , l brown switched off and wanted to cover the position rather than make himself available for the ball which bitton played ...
