Odd given how much he celebrated that goal before it was so cruelly, cruelly ruled out.
Who can remember Pepe’s premature celebrations too..?
Champions League, this means more.
Sterling interview.

It should be, it's the major trophy to win. Not the most exciting mind, but the best.

Just because the prem means more to him doesnt mean he isnt going to celebrate scoring a last minute winner in the champions league

PL is always the one players and true fans want. 38 games, the best team in the league will always win.

Maybe it is more important for him. Certainly isn't for pep and the owners though.

I havent found anywhere Pep has said the CL is more important than the PL, even at Bayern or Barca.
What he has said is he believes the league is harder to win and the true test of a good team. In another interview he aluded to the fact that until Barca won the CL under Rikaard, Barca as a club had only ever won it once and growing up as a barca ball boy and player, it was something he was not familiar with.
Pep's approach to league titles and cups throughout his career also kinda shows which competition he priorities.
The owners definitely want the CL as it has more prestige than the Premier league title and gains you the admiration of a wider public
