How would you deal with the line-up?

If Spurs got both Lo Celso and Dybala, and held on to Eriksen, then Poch would need to juggle the formation or will he resolve the issue how to line-up in another way?

I feel like with Dybala in the team, Poch will use him as an impact player, like Lamela. As an impact player, Dybala is more effective and this was the case against Spurs in CL.

Therefore, Dybala would come on to add extra dimension to the attack, but I think Lo Celso or Eriksen would start from the beginning

Can Spurs afford to buy Dybala as an impact player when there is Lamela already?

Maybe Dybala isn't the answer for Spurs, unless just to make a declaration of intent.
Would Dybala suit Spurs system and can he cope with the demands of the rigurous premisership season and aggressive defenders where space in the middle is usually at a premium with tackles flying in in derbies?

I feel maybe Lo Celso is the better investment in terms of players and the general make up of Spurs - how we play and the season coming up.

Instead, we need to ensure that as per last season, God forbid, injuries to Kane effect the season, we have a proven goalscorer who can come off the bench and link up with the players and finish off moves.

It is unusual that this weakness in the current setup is going unnoticed, or so it seems from the endless media linkage with Dybala, and it is unusual that a team that wants to push for the top 4, would rely on a 17 year old forward player who for all the good intentions, is unproven at that level?

I am aware that we have secured a very good deal with AIA and maybe there might have been some mention from them of us securing a marquee name in the transfer window, but is Dybala the solution to the issues the club have yet to address?

As a fan, I got carried away with possible signing of Dybala and frankly who wouldn't, but we need to see what we need and instead of being like a child in a sweet shop, we need to address what we lack right now.

Unless someone thinks Dybala can be the player who can slot in as a false 9, and bang in goals?

No evidence of such in Italy.

You seriously think if we sign Dybala he will be a squad player?

Not a bench warmer, but part of the team just as a sub. That's how Juve used him. Have ever seen him play 90 mins? Even for Argentina, he comes on as a sub.

More importantly, can Dybala make up the goals we will miss, if God fobid, Kane is injured? or will Parrott do that?

If both sign, it'll have to be a 4321 or 4312. Lots of competition and rotation in the advanced positions.

The midfield 3 would be

................. Winks..................
................. (Skipp) .................
Ndombele.............. Lo Celso
(Sissoko)................. (Lamela)

And then the front 3 could be

.................Eriksen.................
.................(Alli) .................
..... Kane........... Dybala.......
..... (Son).......... (Lucas).....

(rotation options in brackets obvs)

Lots of very good players in competition which is always good, and plenty of the attacking players can switch around, but it's badly lacking in width, especially with slow full backs assuming Foyth and Davies are this season's first choices.

Like the inclusion of Skipp.

I was not a fan of his last season, as he seemed more running away from asking for the ball in tough situation and playing of side passes, but the last game, Skipp was I felt copying Winks and actually getting in there and tackling and harassing for the ball.

Good inclusion of him

Looks Rose would end up staying but if he has an attitude issue, then it might pose more questions of his comittment to the club.
But Rose staying isn't a bad thing.

Sessegnon on the other hand, might not make this transfer window as he's still recovering from his injury and even if Fulham accepted our bid, the player isn't in a state to pass the medical before the transfer window closes.

We can't take a gamble on his injury either.

We are left with Davies/Rose poetntially. Foyth will be shunted to the RB and I am not sure he'll be good there in premiership like he was in his national side.
