I’ve been a Levy defender for ages but I will be seriously p!$$ed off with him if this is how our window ends.
We need at least two more top quality signings who can slot straight into the starting eleven. We’re playing a dangerous game now. It could still end up being a great window but something tells me I’m more likely to be unhappy than happy at the end of it.
If rumours are to be believed, Pochettino is happy with our current RB options. If this is true then I seriously question his judgement and he has to take part of the blame.
Aurier - Injury prone and erratic, but has NEVER been given a run of games:
Foyth - on the whole, poor last season. Still a novice and not a natural RB.
KWP - Does not look convincing, physically very poor. Hasn’t been given a run of games but doesn’t convince me in the slightest.

Verts Toby and Sanchez. Toby is still up in the air and I’m not even counting dier because he is becoming a complete waste of time

Poch likes versatility, Davies, Foyth and Dier can all cover CB. We’re not buying a CB when we have 3 guys battling for 2 positions and a further 3 players who can cover.
We won’t buy another striker either as Son/Alli/Lucas can all cover.

Foyth at RB for a season is a cop-out.
Happy to be proved wrong.
But Poch thought playing Son at LB in a semi was a good idea.

Agree about the CBs unless we were selling Dier I see him playing there long term. Foyth the cover at CB and can play RB. We also still have Aurier and KWP.
CB is a massive worry say somehow we let verts and toby go next summer, will be a disaster.
Regarding your comment on forwards though I do not agree, we need another option there. Son, lucas and Dele as forwards at the end of last season in the league especially, hopefully just down to fatigue, were very wasteful and toothless.

Yeah, but unless foyth is going to be a revelation, then We are in trouble. We know kwp and Aurier are not the answer. We are trying to win the league ffs. We should have put down serious money for whoever are the top right backs on the continent outside of rival clubs or the European giants.
