It was in Nanjing which is 200 miles from Shanghai

Much as Nanjing is a very developed city of over 8 million folk it is still very local. it has a pretty horrible climate and the pollution can be very bad.

Not much in the way of ex pat life style.

Were it Shanghai then it would be a no brainer to go as its just like any massive city anywhere in the world.

Still for 1 million a week I might just put up with it

Sometimes when I have an accumulator on that I can cash out, I get to the last game and they are offering me say £220 to cash out, or £250 winnings if the last team wins. Just ask yourself, if you did not have this bet on, would you put £220 on this team to win to gain £30? No, I’d rather keep the £220 because that’s too much to risk just to win £30 and football isn’t always straight forward. Yet when in a cash out situation many of us would just keep the bet on to try and win another £30m cos you only put a fiver on and you’d just be losing a fiver right? Wrong. But also right actually.

That’s irrelevant, but what is relevant is that Bale already has a shiiite ton of money already. If you were a multi-millionaire already, would you rather play for Barcelona or Wang Chung at the peak of your career?

Also “Free bar” in hospitality for £200 a head?? How do I drink £200 worth of drink at half time?

Also “all you can eat” garbage food for £30? I can only eat about £15 worth of food and I could get a steak for that. Yeah but more is better! I don’t need more! Ahhhhhh

Anyway, that’s some things relating to greed and not thinking about what is actually important.
