RANGERS players will not be allowed to wear Hummel kit next season as a judge orders the club to pay Sports Direct almost £450,000 in legal fees.
Lionel Persey QC has imposed an injuction preventing the Ibrox side from wearing or selling the strips from season 2020/21.
It comes as the Gers have been given just over two weeks to cough up an interim payment of £444,846.60 in legal fees - which could rise substantially - with a deadline of 4pm on August 16.
It's understood both parties will return to court at a later date to settle damages.
We told earlier how the Gers face paying millions to the retail giants following their latest defeat to Mike Ashley's firm in court.
A company in the Sports Direct Group, SDI Retail Services, said Light Blues chiefs had been in breach of obligations under a deal relating to replica kit.
Rangers bosses disputed the claims made against them.
But judge Lionel Persey GQ - at a High Court hearing in London on July 19 - ruled in favour of SDI.
Now, Lionel Persey QC has imposed an injunction killing the Light Blues Hummel deal from next season.
In his ruling, he said: "Rangers shall not perform the Elite/Hummel Agreement.
"Rangers shall not assist Elite or Hummel to perform the Elite/Hummel Agreement.
"And Rangers shall inform Elite and Hummel that it will not perform the Elite/Hummel Agreement."
The Gers have also been blocked from registering a home, away or third playing kit designed by Hummel with the SFA for 2020/21.
They have been told not to agree sale dates for any replica kits, sell any merchandise or create a Hummel branded area within the Rangers Megastore at Ibrox.
And they have been ordered not to propose or agree any kit designs with Hummel for next season.
The court ruling continues: "During the future football season 2020/2021, Rangers shall not permit the Rangers FC teams to wear any Official Rangers Technical Products designed by, supplied by, gifted by or manufactured by Elite or Hummel, or bearing the Hummel brand.
The club have been warned they will be held in contempt of court, fined or have its assets seized if they do not comply with the order.
Ibrox directors may also be imprisoned or fined if they breach the court's ruling.
Rangers have been denied any opportunity to appeal the ruling.
A statement issued on the club's website said: "Rangers was disappointed by the terms of the recent court Judgment but respects the decision of the court and will meet any financial award made by the court."

A spokesman for the Gers side added: "The Hummel deal will continue throughout the coming season."
We told earlier how Rangers claimed the court order preventing the sale of strips would "impair its ability to function as a football club".
It comes after Rangers company secretary James Blair was branded "untruthful" in his dealings with Sports Direct.
Lionel Persey QC - writing in his final judgement which outlines the reasoning behind his decision - highlighted Blair’s role in the dispute with the retail giants.
