He probably is better than BPF.sadly though on current form half the keepers in the Championship are better than Kiko and on a fraction of his wages and 4 year contract.

Rob, disagree half of them.. however I get your point ref wages mate.

I do think he is a quality keeper though! Let’s hope we see the best of him this season

He'll prove to be a good keeper but sadly the defence in front of him needs further work.

Agree Stevie

I’m disappointed at the lack of transfers so far... squad seems weaker.. this can’t be what MB wants? Which tells me we’re in for a nice surprise, if not, it’s baffling at best !!

Would prefer to be upbeat and positive until we know for sure.. sport has so many ups and downs, you may as well enjoy the ride rather than complaining about it...

Squad is weaker. Would take two or three new signings to make us competitive with a further two to give us an edge. Harrison and Clarke aren't new signings.

Orta and AR get a lot of criticism but Bielsa dictates what we require. Wingers only it seems.

Dunno if the first team squad is weaker. We’ve gained what should be a quality winger. We’ve lost a proven quality centre back and replaced with an unproven ball-playing cb. We’re a keeper down, but many didn’t rate him.

We’re short of where i’d like us to be, as like everyone, i’d have liked to see us strengthen... but not sure we’re much weaker.

If we're relying on the U23 keepers to supplement Casilla, then it's a huge gamble.

One thing playing well in an U23 environment, a totally different prospect in a stadium full of 30k expectant fans.

If Casilla stays error free and fit, all well and good. But if we lose him, without bringing in someone else, then turning to these lads is a huge gamble which could derail our season.

We saw last season injuries, loss of form and calamitous errors amongst our goalkeeping pool, we’ve decided not to strengthen it and I guess hoping none of those things happen again.
