It has always surprised me that more players don't aim for the top corner as its the one place that no keeper can get to. Fair play to Kane though he batters them in.

I would like to know what Eriksen was attempting to do with his? Whatever it was I doubt he'll be asked to take another, Neuer looked embarrassed for him.

Was gna say that. As Pawl says the keeper can't get there but small margins for error, if not bang on point it can easily go high or wide.

Kane might be the best in the league but he's not as good as Le Tissier was and his record speaks for itself with just the 1 miss in about 50 or something. Kane has more misses than that.

Sure it is a harder skill but I guess thats where the practice comes in. Keepers are so agile these days that a low well struck effort thats just inside the post can be saved.
