At the age of 32, is this good business by the Jambos or a a huge risk?
If he stays fit he could very well get the goals that might have them challenging for a European spot next season.

Massive gamble.
Their best player by a mile.
But he has quite a ‘combative’ style. Not ideal for an ageing player with chocolate knees.

You just know he’s going to get fooked again.
Murphy looks a shadow of the player that started last season. He looks miles off match fitness and in his short appearances so far has terrified to be tackled.
But you just know Naismith will be straight back ploughing into tackles.
Accident waiting to happen😩

Thought Rangers had him when I saw OP...but bad blood remains.

I suspect for Hearts to get him they needed to give him a long term contract. He would still do a job for a Championship team in England but unlikely to get more than a 1 or 2 years contract. He will see that 4 years as up to retirement and Hearts knew without it they'd lose him
