Liverpool are apparently in talks with Bournemouth regarding Harry Wilson joining them on loan.
What happened to this lad? I recall him being touted as having a promising future and thought he had had a good loan spell last season?
At 22 I'd expect him to be making a push for the first team this season. Is he just not up to scratch?
Bournemouth to loan Wilson?

Definitely good enough, just needs regular games and he's not going to get them at Liverpool.
-----------------
I am just a bit confused as to why he is going out on loan again. Would he not be a good option of the bench and in the cups? What about Woodburn and Brewster? Are they staying around this season?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Woodburn has gone to Oxford united.
Brewster is a striker so they aren’t competing for the same spot.
We’ve got enough options in his position and he needs to play football. Was one of the best young players in the championship last season and natural progression would be for him to now move up and have a season in the prem.
Is The keeper you’ve sent out on loan to Sheffield united not up to scratch because he’s gone on loan?
---------------------
I wasn't suggesting that Brewster and Wilson were competing for the same spot. Just questioning what was happening with him.
Not really sure why you have got so defensive or brought our young keeper into it.
1. We have one of the best keepers in the world, so Henderson is unlikely to displace him this season.
2. We have an international level keeper as our backup keeper.
3. Wilson would have the chance to compete for 2 positions in the team if he had stayed. He would also get the chance to come off the bench, which doesn't happen with keepers.
4. Keepers tend to develop/come into their prime later than outfield players.
There is no comparison between the two really.
At 22, having heard rave reviews about the lad, I would have expected him to be competing for a spot in the first team this season and was just asking what the situation is. Your problem is that you spend all of your time on here being a tw@t - so you just assume that is what everyone else is doing.

He’s going on loan because he’s not going to get into a front 3 that quite frankly is one of the best in world football and simply holding on to him for cases of if buts or maybes isn’t good for him.

I didn't suggest anything. I asked a question to the fans of the team that he plays for and who know more about the lad than I do. I was surprised to see him going on loan again given his age. At that point the youngsters tend to be given a chance or sold on.

I would suggest that's happening, just not at our club.
If he moves on loan he's being given a chance at EPL level (more mins than he'd get at Liverpool) and if he doesn't impress then he'll be sold on.
If I'm being honest, I can't see him being anything other than a squad player with us anyway.

I very much doubt that Bournemouth would loan Wilson to Liverpool. He was their top scorer last season and is an England international? I highly doubt Liverpool would be able to get him. You must have read wrong. Please pay a bit more attention.

kent , wilson and rossiter were the most talented of the players i watched at liverpool academy who in the same age group
watched these lads play from age 9 to 17/18..pretty much every match
kent and wilson still have the same strengths and weaknesses they had as kids imo

Terrible decision same with Grujic. Saying needed for next season stop messing them about. Its either they good enough, give them a chance or sell them. I think Harry deserves his shot.

Watched this guy a lot at Derby. Not sure about him. He reminds me of Snodgrass with a bit more pace. Excellent shooting and crossing technique from open play and set pieces but poor general play..creates lots of turnovers, not a particularly good dribbler or even passer. I’m aware he had an excellent record at Championship level, testament to his shooting ability..but so did Snodgrass! I am interested to see how he does at PL level this season. However I don’t see him being good enough for Liverpool even as back up..
