United and Aston Villa well ahead of the chasing pack in terms of money spent. Villa on so many players you worry they won't be a cohesive unit for the first month or so and United on homegrown potential.
Sheffield United seem to be giving it a decent go chucking much more money that i expected the to at it especially in comparison to Norwich who's owner is clearly lining their own pockets instead this summer.
Everton and Leicester are pretty low down, i would expect that means they have some money to be spending before the window closes.
Liverpool don't have any fit specialist full back cover on either side so potentially they might stop being so miserly.
Crystal Palace for some bizarre reason have only spent 3m and have a squad with more holes than emmental cheese and Zaha possibly leaving. Get your bets on them going down.

City signing Cancelo for £28m + Danilo is £46m in my eyes as Danilo is valued at £18m.

I agree, just you dont see people quote the full amount in other deals.
Arsenal wanted 35m from city at the time.
Also its irrelevant on a net spend article as danilo just goes down as 0 and +27m.

Their entire revenue couldn't pay the wages for some years.

Net spend, pffft.
It’s all about spending on the right players. Under Koeman and Walsh we had our own pants down. Now balancing the spend via a firesale of unwanted players.
