Transfer window may not have been perfect but there is still a lot that's better than this time last year. Now...cast your minds back:
We KNEW the season was heading for meltdown. The miserable one was telling the world that his squad was rubbish, especially in defence. Their confidence shattered, they duly obliged and performed like nervous wrecks. To prove a point to the board, the miserable one deliberately put the likes of Herrera and McT in centre of defence.
He also had slagged off the fans for being stupid enough to watch a pre-season tour game.
We had no idea of the style he wanted to play.
He was trying to moving on Martial.
He was falling out with Pogba.
He had given up on youth.
WE WERE THE MOST BORING SIDE IN THE PREMIER LEAGUE!
It's better than that now. Much better. There's no reason we can't expect to challenge for 3rd place and progress from there in the next couple of seasons.
It's not just about the signings

He will react to what's going on around him. If things ain't going well he will go missing
He isn't going to change at this stage
