Not a bad window overall for Arsenal. We were never going to get all important areas filled in because it’s Arsenal. But I feel in the end we may have done enough. Only concern as ever is the defence and Luiz is a solid player overall. Tierney is highly rated and if he can be as good as the Scottish left back at Liverpool that’s a very good signing.
Looks like our attack will have to be at maximum for duration of the season however. Very very top heavy. We definitely have done most improvements of all the other top 4 contenders. How that pans out remains to be seen.

Top heavy? I think not.
The attacking roles will usually have the highest attrition when it comes to injuries. They will also demand more rotation and more substitutions.
We could send out a very capable attack on a good day, but the options coming off the bench are about 2 classes below what we need.

Leicester have signed Praet for £20,000,000. We were heavily linked at the beginning of the window and £20 million seems like a steal, and cheaper than what we were being quoted with having to pay.
Cabellos is a decent player but is only loan :/ hope this one doesn’t come back to bite us. Cabellos leaves sin the summer and Praet has a blunder of a first season

Would have been perfect if we kept iwobi. Why get rid of a young player with heaps of potential, we needed him for squad depth.

Emery has mixed it up quite a bit over the past year.
He tends to go for a 4-2-3-1 most times. But most of the harder games have seen him send out teams with 3 CBs at the back with 2 wingbacks on either side.
Anything to keep Xhaka happy, I guess.

Central defence still looks weak, Xhaka is still weak, and I fancy you will get bullied away from home.
However, I think Arsenal’s window overall has been impressive and they have done enough to finish comfortably in the top 4 with City, Pool and Spurs.
