Forgot about the Champions League

Obviously "expecting" to win it would be ridiculous for Spurs, and it seems unlikely that last season's run will be repeated. Getting out of the groups is the minimum requirement, quarters would be a good run, semis or final would be way beyond expectations.

Dont think we went far enough to say we can challange the top 2, getting a RB and Dybala would have helped, but still have the Eriksen situation and contracts for Toby and Verts, so could all go pear shaped yet, expecting a battle for 4th again, have to realise that even though on paper we have improved but so have teams around been spending money

Overall improvement in play. Good cup runs.

If we lose Eriksen and Toby we going to struggle especially if we lose Toby.

Poch isn’t happy. He’s been saying odd things in the media for 2-3 years. It’s not the signings, it’s the fact he is essentially a coach these days and doesn’t have the control over incomings and outgoings that he would like

We operate a 4 person selection group for transfers, none of which is Levy. Poch sits on it and ultimately has the final say.
However I do believe the club will have some sort of template that has qualifying criteria for individual players. If they don’t ✔️ most of the boxes then we don’t buy them

Not to say Poch isn’t consulted, but the idea that he’s suddenly going to be really happy is just naive. I think it’s his last season. The guy has done wonders for you

Huge season for Dele. He either steps and and proves he is actually a quality player or meanders through the season and the talent he had starts to be talked about as a flop. I also think Poch needs to up his game with Dele.

Poch has to deliver a trophy this season. No excuses. He can't keep falling short every season. This is as strong a side as we have had so time to deliver.

If that was true how do you explain his recent press conference where he claimed that he had nothing to do with players coming in or going out and his job title should be changed to coach?
