Decent bit of transfer business done

by Spurs in the end. I had not expected anymore signings, but two did happen in the last hour of the transfer window, so fair play to Daniel Levy, he put his money down. Now it is down to the manager, no more excuses. I expect trophies this season.

Spurs did OK last season, CL finalists, top four, semi-finalists of the league cup, without spending a penny. Now that Spurs have beefed up the squad, with none of Toby, Rose or Eriksen going, and most of the key players fit, Dele aside, I would expect a major push on all four fronts this season. No reason not to really.

Getting to the CL last season should not be the peak, it should just be the start. Absolutely no reason why Spurs cannot reach the final again, a lot of the so called European big hitters are in transition.

Expect Man City to take the title again, but Spurs should be up there, and Liverpool will not be getting a free run at 2nd place like last season. I have had my usual small pre season wager on Spurs at 16/1 each way, 1st or 2nd.

Looking forward to tomorrow`s match with Villa, and hopefully three points.

Been following JA606 for a while so decided to finally register.

My take on the transfer window is that we have improved the midfield but it still depends on the potential departures of certain players, current net spend is around £75m I cannot see that staying the same by the end of this month imo.

So if a few ppl leave then is the depth any better than before????
