City swept all the trophies except one, but what a one it was. They've then spent near 150m this summer on top of what they have.

United have spent around the same but they still look weak. Anything can happen but if they get top 4 they should be overjoyed as it looks like a tough ask.

Chelsea Disqualified for breaking the rules but fecking Palace sneaking in ahead of us by 7m.

Our net spend over the last 5 years is probably less than the former net spend champs, Spurs. If not then we can't be far off plus we've managed to make it count. A profit of 36.95m this summer but surely, I think we must have something up our sleeve. Perhaps players will be identified and targeted and we'll spend 200m plus next calendar year again.

I'm not feeling confident of beating City to the title, I'll be happy with top 4 and hopefully a cup but you never know. All options are still on the table. The team has chemistry, is close knit and has stayed together after achieving greatness last season, and perhaps this season will be more special than the last.

Let's GO REDS!!!

Hazard on his own went for 88m (or whatever 100m euros was at the time)
Morata is reported to have been £50-60m

Anyone who paid £50-60m for Morata must be living in a timewarp. Athletico Madrid bought him. I shall see how many goals he gets this season.
