United are miles off Spurs at this moment in time.

Historically this held water, not now. Much more likely to win something at Spurs than United now.

Likely to spend years in the wilderness not really competing for anything at United.

I reckon there's a fair chance Kane will be at Spurs for the entirety of his career. But I also think it's fairly inevitably that he'll have to turn down some tempting offers if that's to be the case.
