Mahrez contributing his fair share - huge opportunity with Leroy out until spring. Lots of City fans already made up their minds, but don’t think he’s had a fair chance yet. He will get that between now and Sanes return, by which time we will know if he has what it takes to be a City player under Pep for sure.
Great to see Kev back. If Pep says we will be even better this year, for me that relies on De Bruyne staying fit.
Away from player praise and on to VAR... I’ve tried to be pretty open minded about it, but still far from convinced. Not sure I will ever get used to holding off goal celebrations until the decision is made, it just doesn’t feel right.

To be honest I thought he was right to do so
Strikers thrive off goals and if he’d given up the penalty then not scored for a couple of games it brings its own pressure
Thought Rodri was excellent today.has a real presence about him
With regards to VAR,it works in rugby and cricket because it’s transparent to all on the big screen and adds to the entertainment
Only the tv audience know what’s going on,supporters at the ground are treated very shabbily in this respect
