Agree re Alioski, absolutely fine with him coming on as a full back but he offers nothing as a winger, never has in my view. Nullified us as an attacking threat down the left.

White’s problems will be physical... he got man-handled by Dawson for that headed chance. On the ball he looks excellent.

Actually I thought costa looked lively when he came on... nice to see a guy taking people on. Could have won a pen with a different ref.

Been saying all summer we need a number 10. Fully agree.

I have no idea why he plays Alioski on the wing. He has no pace. He is a full back.

Harrison is looking a real threat for us.

Your Costa fear is the fact that very few of our expensive signings ever work. Its usually a Snodgrass Gradel Pablo Cooper Ayling Beckford Becchio who do well. Or a young lad from the academy

the same thoughts I had...he's going to struggle with
the physicality of powerful strikers and he could have
given a penalty away fouling Dawson from a corner.

Alioski is good but positionally he's a problem. As a fullback he's effective, and as a winger he's effective but when he tries to do both he ends up leaving the defence vulnerable and that cost us a few goals last season. Either Bielsa has failed to learn certain lessons from last season or he knows something we don't.

Lack of height is a big worry also. We'll miss Jansson's aerial ability.

Yes especially later in games when teams go more direct.Having said that I really rate White and what he brings but fear we will concede soft goals on set pieces this season through lack of height as a defending unit.

Leeds United played a typical game today. Controlled for most of the time then let the opposition creep back in and nick a goal.

We were the better team. We need to be taking more chances although I was pleased with Bamford's overall performance. The defence needs to be alive for 90 minutes, sloppy goal to concede.

2 points lost but it's early days and I'm not seeing much in terms of better teams than us thus far.

Interesting to see the selection against Salford. We need a bloody good result if only to boost confidence.

Are we all going to ignore how Patrick bamford is now becoming a liability. 2 clear cut chances...one being bread and butter.
