If vertonghen was in the team no goal would have been scored against you.

He is phisically strong, reads the game well, good in the air and is one of the few defenders who can deal with players with pace.

Sanchez is too rash in challenges and is too fixated on the opponent striker and doesn't track runners in the wide channels or behind him.

Whether we like it or not Sanchez is spurs CB for the future I will be fine with it if he has an experienced guy next to him for the foreseeable as well because he can grow and improve for sure. However spurs look likely to be losing their 2 senior guys who are a class a above in a quick succession. Need a leader at the back

We didn’t play a rival so why rush him when there’s a game next week that is more of need for experience like Jan provides?
We conceded yesterday but then Liverpool conceded too 🤷🏻‍♂️ Meh

We suffered a lot with injuries so best to manage players.
Fans will have to get used to this.

Yes obviously Sanchez is going to be the main man in a season or two, but Verts at the very least should have been on the bench. Toby and Verts as a partnership are not getting any younger, so can understand the need to manage both of them carefully now. But nonetheless Verts is probably still an absolute first teamer in my book.

Yes Sandy so we are going to see rotation of the CBs to get Sanchez ready for being first choice. I wouldn't be surprised if we see sanchez and Verts as the CB pairing next game.

This isn't the right thing to do but it's what poch is going to do with the uncertain futures of the other 2

Rose needs to buckle up and show more commitment on the field

I'd rather have Davies if Rose doesn't show more desire like he yesterday.

When the ball is about to bounce, he should have busted his gut to get accross and yet he didn't and then he was surprised with the Villa player's pace, and then to top it all, he tried to anticipate the shot and got done. It was like watching an under 14 year old defender

Whereas KwP answered the questions on the right hand side, we are now have more questions on the left because of lack of serious commitment.

I am sure this will be highlighted by Poch. Rose's place is in danger now.

I expect Verts/Toby to be back against City.
