Firstly, great to be back, I just love going to that stadium
3 points was the main thing, and Villa played very well, but there were a few concerns. Firstly, the goal. How can a hopeful punt down the pitch lead to their man going through on goal? Secondly, until Eriksen came on the tempo was too lethargic. We do seem to go through the motions a bit, when you compare our starts to the way Liverpool and City start we are miles behind.
Eriksen was the difference yesterday. I said at the start of the transfer window he would be our best signing if we can get him a new deal. Hopefully the fact nobody seems to want him will help us tie him down. If he leaves lo celso will have huge boots to fill.
On the positive side, we kept the pressure up and were relentless second half. Kane's finishing was top class and we can now enjoy our Sunday.

Thoughts from yesterday

I forget that we have this stadium and then see it again and can’t believe we play there.
I loved whl but I watched some clips of it yesterday and it looked so run down

Stadium fantastic, atmosphere brilliant, performance on the pitch - first 70 mins 5/10, last 20 mins 9/10. Ndombele is going to be great for us as he settles in. Looking forward to seeing Le Celso. Oh and hate his attitude, but we need to persuade Eriksen to stay.
But, stadium flaws in gaining access, standard of stewards poor, and way better food / drink management. Cant be running out of fries and beer half an hour before lick off. And get some control over to ridiculous queuing for what is clearly one of their main income streams on match day.
