Dan James

Yes it is a real kick in the nuts to see him playing for them. He could have been the missing piece of the jigsaw to get us promoted. I know there are different opinions on here about why he did not sign for us. Some blaming Swansea fair and square and others saying if we had not dithered around and tried to change the terms of the deal to save a few quid etc.
Either way it is another case of what might have been

He's not playing for Leeds United. It's as simple as that, no point ruing what might have been.

We have a good enough squad as it stands, they just need to deliver.

It's a shame for us but it happened.

Tbh, well done to the guy. It's not a given we would have gone up with him, I think we would have but he's playing at club in the Europa League when he could have been in the Championship again. It's a better move for him

Our biggest problem last season and against Forest this season is not creating chances but converting them into goals. Dan James is not a striker and is at his most effective as a counter attacking winger. Teams have found the most effective way to play against us is to sit deep and try and hit us on the counter and from set pieces. Whilst I think Dan James would have added a better threat on the left than Harrison or Alioski, he would not have improved our chance conversion efficiency.
