Spurs to give Eriksen £200k a week?

Reports suggest that Spurs are about to more than double Christian Eriksen's wages to secure his long-term future.

Talk of £200 a week from Spurs?

After Saturday's display in which Eriksen was hailed as the player to have changed the game for Spurs, Spurs are desperate to extend Eriksen's contract and are willing to offer the midfielder close to £200,000 a week — more than double his current £80,000.

Saga may continue though as the European window is still open.

Looks like Levy and the club are looking to get Eriksen wrapped up.

This is a significant move from Levy, renowned for his shriftiness and money control.

Come on Eriksen, sign!

He's an attacking central midfielder

Way off where I had him!!

Good to hear
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Eh? Where the fack did you have him then?!
----------------------------------------------------------------------

I saw a clip of him, wide right and surrounded by three players, he evaded them and cut inside and played a dinking pass to the left back.

So that made me think he is a winger

But the montage I saw of him was awful and didn't really show in the context of the game, just brief glimpses of him running around, beating players and squaring the ball.

I am glad he isn't and would be very happy if he is an attacking central midfielder - a man of my own heart

Has he got the distribution and vision like Eriksen?

God almighty, I can't wait to see him play!! Poch has reiterated how good Lo Celso is - apparently.

Yes let's wait to see him play before debating what his best position is. I'm sure Poch knows what he's about

Maybe Levy has finally gotten the message that he needs to keep Eriksen in order to have a team that is competitive for top 4?
So rumor 200K/week offer has finally happened?
It may be too late since Juve has come knocking on Eriksen's door, according to reports!

From the grapevine, theboyhotspur

A source close to the club tells the Harry Hotspur Blog that the current offer from Levy & Co. is a 2-year deal, with a basic of £180,000 per week plus bonuses.

NBC reporting that Eriksen has turned "an" improved offer, but no way to know from the report whether Eriksen turned down the latest offer. Apparently financially, it is a very lucrative offer but it doesn't extend beyond this season?
