So.....No ban for City.

Is this because it’s a “first offence" and Chelsea allegedly have form? Or should Chelsea feel a tad peeved at this?

For me, i am happy with the ban, because i think long term it's the best thing (although not intended to) that could have happened to our club.

But as the Kakuta ban was overturned. Officially this is Chelsea's first offence. Should there not be a level of consistency?

The problem is that fining City that amount is much like confiscating the small change from a driver’s pocket.

Meaningless.

That is very true. The fact it was monetary rather rather than a ban does show it wasn’t as serious as others though.

Surely there is something better than money though, given the amount of money in the game today? It just doesn't work as a deterrent, does it.

Yes, I’d say the transfer ban. I think if any of ours had happened after the guidance was issued, we’d have had that to (albeit probably only one window)

Just read an article stating that City's violations were in double figures, less than Chelsea but still double figures.

Chelsea had 92 transfers investigated and were found guilty in 29 cases.

Mr. C how are you? Long time no speak. I hope you are keeping well.

You're very much missed around the boards these days. Hopefully it's just coz you are busy at work and nothing else more serious. Would be good to see a little bit more of you posting, but I'm sure both you and the legend that is Barney will make a reappearance when the time is right.

The article was wrong then. We were found guilty of two out of nine. Chelsea were 29 out of 92 (and of two different rules too)
