Looking forward to meeting up with you. Expect most will be coming up on the train from London with me.

What are you doing up there anyway?

Meeting up with a scouse mate of 50 years, few bevvies and a bite to eat. Quite like the scousers really. Just not most on here, but then most of them have never been to Liverpool in their life.

You won't see any of them today Sandy, ithey'll be in the dole office, signing all day so they can get a dole cheque
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Surely they don’t have to spend the entire day signing....I would’ve thought one signature would do?

Look after your hubcaps, bring back a shellsuit as a souvenir, make sure your pockets are empty and beware of the 13 year old mothers.
I heard the window cleaners in Liverpool use a sander, what a fackin pishh hole of a place.

Always liked the BeeHive on Mount Pleasant years ago. Also the Cambridge near the Anglican Cathedral. Are they still there?

I'm taking it that your mate is an Everton fan if he's an actual Scouser then Sandy!

Hi Brummie, how you doing. Had a great day in Liverpool. My mate is an actual Red, but not to fanatical, so we get on fine. Been mates for nearly 50 years since our Aussie days.
Started off at the Spoons on Lime Street Station, then went downtown to The Cornmarket in Old Ropery, lovely pub that is, then moved on to the Pig and Whistle in Chapel Street. Moved on to supposedly Liverpool`s oldest pub, Ye Hole In the Wall, great little snug at the back. Had a swift half in The Grapes in Matthew Street, and finished of in the new Wetherspoons, the Captain Alexander in James Street.
Safe to say I was grounded by her indoors yesterday.

Not too bad Sandy.
There are some nice areas in Liverpool nowadays, I stayed around the Royal Albert dock area a few months ago whilst I was working at Knowlsey and there are some nice bars and restaurants round there.
So you spent a bit of time down under did you? Whereabouts? My eldest lives in NSW now, I love it there personally!
