Always hard to guess what Pep will do in any game but Spurs had a good summer so won't be an easy game.
Ederson
Walker Stones Laporte Zinchenko
Rodri
KDB Merlin
Bernardo Kun Sterling
Bernardo's trickery should test Spurs down one flank while Sterling rips down the other. Walker and Ziny also adding to the problems for the Spurs FB's.
However Pep may see it differently and use little Fern to break up Spurs counter attacks so who knows?
Will Benjamin 'on the' Mendy ever play more than a few cameos I wonder?

How long is Dele out for?
Wouldn't be surprised to see Cancelo for us either, might be a bit too soon though.

Shame about Dele. Yet again, a big game and we have injuries ruling out our best players taking part. Distinctly giving advantage to our opposition not being able to field from the best. A fit and on form Dele would have caused a mayhem in that defense with his late runs.

Glad to get this one out the way early.
City look unreal going forward and absolutely tore West Ham a new one. I'm hoping we give you a tougher game.
Head says 3-1 City.
Heart says 2-2 or even a surprise Spurs away win. Wishful thinking really

Kane is looking sharp and means business so that's a very big plus for us. No Company for them that's another plus for us. He had an immense presence and wealth of experience, specially when they get rattled a bit.
Ndombele is a beast of a player and is getting sharper - match fitness wise. He's definitely a plus for us.
It's not cut and dry as results go, but City do have an edge with players like KDB and B Silva, who on their day can dictate any midfield.
We won't be coming there with any fear. We scored 3 there with a patched up side ff!

Scored 2 goals in 3 minutes blitz too and had a 95 years old on the pitch

Easy 0-2 win for spurs if that’s the team you pick

5-0 for City is much more likely.

Having Sane out, along with Mendy is a pity, Sane coming on against a tired defence would cause palpitations for Spurs who are weak at FB. Hopefully Bernardo is fit, much too good a player for almost any team to mark out of the game so maybe if he is fit he will play instead of Merlin with Foden getting some game time later on.

The signing of Joao Cancelo gives us the option of playing 3-5-2 now. That's the formation I would play in the big games.
Ederson
Walker Stones Laporte
Cancelo KDB, Rodri, Bernado, Zinchenko
Sterling Jesus
Aguero/Mahrez/Gundo can come on in the second half.

I’m just messing. I have bad feeling for city so I hope for a good competitive game.

I feel confident that Sterling can get at the Spurs F/B's , as can Bernardo if on the wing. F/B's are a big area of weakness for Spurs so the injuries to Sane and Mendy are a big loss for this game (although I am not sure whether Mendy should count as an injury, it is the normal state of things). Spurs will try to hit City on the break, especially given the much stronger midfield that City have so Laporte and Stones will need to be sharp.
