So, as the title of my article says, we are in desperate need of a win. A win would breed confidence. Confidence within the squad, within the youngsters and most importantly, in the manager.
I think we were extremely unlucky against United - we may have been two up before needlessly giving away a penalty. I think for 60 minutes, we were the better side - until that second goal ripped everything out of the team. In hindsight, the biggest error Frank made was starting Abraham in front of Giroud. For all of our good play, the ball didn't "stick" up front - it came back too quickly and caught us too high up the pitch. Tammy will have his day, but away to United on the first day of the season was not a great idea.
We matched Liverpool too. They were slightly better than us overall, but there was not the great gulf that I feared. We definitely look better with Kante in the team and Pulisic looks like he can give us something new. We desperately need Rudiger back though.
There are good signs. When we can, we absolutely MUST buy a striker and a decent left back and central defender wouldn't go amiss.

Hi TBone, don't think we will need to get loan player, I think the ban will be overturned in next few weeks and then we can buy in January.
Not the best time but very good players can be purchased.
Would not surprise me if players have already been contacted.
I actually expect us to go in for Zaha in january

Eric, their is no desperation as far as I'm concerned,ok we could do with a couple of players,a C/f and a C/B would come in handy,but, following our last 2 performances, I have every faith in Frank and the team .
Saturday, against Leicester will not be easy either ,but if we carry on playing like we have done in the last 2 games,,results will come our way,of this I am sure.
This season is going to be a revelation,with a few bumps along the way,and I'm really looking forward to it !

i dont think it will get overturned but suspect we have a few deals ready to go through in the summer already, i would love to see a move for tony Kroos go through and a good finisher, not a big name look at Norwichs Pukki right now 2 games in the premier and 4 goals already.
